Dr. Kim Won-ik, the director of the World Mythology Research Institute, attended with gratitude for contacting me on purpose. The title of the reading concert is “Greek Myth, the Pleasure of Reading.” Following Dr. Kim Won-ik’s opening speech and the reading of his own poem “The Creation of Semele” by the poet “Lightning,” the students of the Shinhwa class read the main lines of Homer’s Ilias and Odysseas in the order of part 1. – 1 minute orderPS) I had dinner with Dr. Kim Won-ik on Dec. 8. It was because of my gratitude for being there for me during the book talk in October. It was a meeting with a 50-year-old friend who connected me to Dr. Kim and took videos and photos during the book talk. While talking about the Shinhwa Reading Concert, when the trust that he would kill his father and marry his mother turned out to be true, and his mother and wife, Icaste, hanged herself and killed herself, she said it would be great if the actor or voice actor read the monologue of Oedipus sobbing while stabbing her in the eye. Then, I was very embarrassed because he said he would not know that I was reading that part at the next Shinhwa Reading Conference. I can’t say anything carelessly. ^^”I can see it with my eyes, read it aloud with my mouth, and get it with my heart. Reading is the joy of savoring the content with sound!” I never dared to read Ilias and Odysseus in the original text, but it was a short part but listening to it through reading it clearly felt different from reading it with my eyes. In the final order, there was an event where Dr. Kim Won-ik gave a quiz related to Greek mythology and presented the correct answer with the books he had published. It was not the correct answer because the names of the mythical characters were confused due to memory loss, but he was given a book titled “Love of the Gods through Pictures” because the pronunciation was similar. ^^ – A Gift Book
